Machine Learning Engineer

We’re partnering with a product‑focused organization based in Pune who are currently hiring an experienced Machine Learning Engineer for their analytics team, and your background aligns well with what they’re looking for.

Key highlights of the role:

• Location: Pune (candidates must be based out of Pune or open to relocate)
• Work Model: Hybrid
• Experience: Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning and data engineering
• Mandatory: Solid experience working with AWS (ML deployment, pipelines, or cloud-based ML solutions)

Responsibilities-

• Build, deploy, and maintain production‑grade ML models and pipelines across their full lifecycle.
• Develop scalable, automated systems for training, retraining, monitoring, and model governance.
• Implement strong observability practices: model performance monitoring, data drift detection, alerting, and logging.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to convert prototypes into efficient, maintainable engineering solutions.
• Optimize ML systems for scalability, latency, cost, and reliability.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD workflows, infrastructure-as-code, and ML platform components.
• Lead or influence technical initiatives that improve engineering quality and operational excellence.
• Bring a critical, constructive perspective—challenge assumptions and advocate for best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments.
• Strong AWS expertise (must-have): Experience with services such as S3, Lambda, ECS/ECR, SageMaker, CloudWatch, Step Functions, IAM, etc.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: model lifecycle, evaluation, drift, feature engineering, failure modes.
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, APIs, testing, CI/CD).
• Experience building scalable ML or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps/SRE concepts applied to ML systems.
• Ability to work in product-focused environments with a bias toward practical, maintainable solutions
