About the Team

ML Team team plays a central role in shipping scalable and cost-effective data-science solutions that power products and business decisions across the board. The team builds and maintains a robust MLOps stack—including a centralized feature-store, auto-training frameworks, an in-house model serving system, and real-time monitoring tools. Beyond platform engineering, the team also develops standalone feature-extraction applications that serve as core IP and provide a distinct competitive edge in the industry. About the Role

As an ML-3, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing scalable machine learning platforms and data systems. You’ll contribute to developing reliable, efficient, and scalable ML pipelines, real-time and batch data infrastructure, and production-grade backend services that power ML-driven applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong system design and engineering fundamentals, who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, driving technical excellence, and mentoring engineers across the team.

Must Haves

• Proficiency in at least one of: Java, Python, Go, or Kotlin.
• Proven experience in building and operating scalable ML infrastructure, streaming and batch data pipelines, and production-grade platform services.
• Strong fundamentals in software design, distributed systems, and data structures.
• Continuous drive to improve, automate, and enhance systems for evolving needs.
• Rigorous coding standards with high quality design documentation, code reviews, and agile practices.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Emphasis on observability, ensuring systems are well-monitored and maintainable.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Haves

• Experience working with event-driven and distributed architectures using streaming and
• messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Flink or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with big data and distributed processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive or similar ecosystems.
• Experience building and managing scalable ML/data pipelines and workflow orchestration systems using tools such as Airflow, Databricks Workflow or similar platforms.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and operating model serving infrastructure for low-latency and high-throughput ML workloads.
• Some experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers while fostering strong engineering and
• operational best practices within the team.
• Ability to quickly adapt to complex systems, evolving technologies, and fast-paced development environments.
• Good understanding of security best practices for scalable ML platforms, distributed systems, and service APIs.
