Role Description: Logistics & Transport Coordinator

The Logistics & Transport Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end vehicle placement, transporter coordination, dispatch operations, and in-transit tracking to ensure smooth and timely delivery to domestic and international clients. The role requires strong coordination, negotiation, and tracking abilities to manage transportation operations efficiently.

Key Roles & Responsibilites:

1. Vehicle Placement & Dispatch Management

• Arrange vehicle placement for domestic and international dispatches as per schedule.
• Coordinate loading across godowns and ensure timely, accurate dispatch.
• Monitor rack tracking and manage transhipment in case of breakdowns or operational issues.

2. Transporter Coordination & Negotiation

• Negotiate freight rates to ensure cost efficiency.
• Coordinate vehicle placement with transporters and resolve transit-related issues.
• Maintain communication with drivers and collect delivery/receiving copies post-delivery.

3. In-Transit & Diversion Management

• Track purchase and outward vehicles during transit.
• Handle vehicle diversions to client sites and coordinate billing changes with accounts.
• Monitor resin vehicle movement and ensure timely delivery updates.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain FMS sheets for truck allocation.
• Ensure accurate dispatch documentation and record-keeping.
• Track transporter payments and follow up for timely processing.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Graduate (Supply Chain/Logistics will be an added advantage)
• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, transport coordination or dispatch operations (mandatory)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and tracking sheets
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills for handling in-transit issues
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
