Job Description

Job Requirements Analyze and debug issues related to Android userspace boot-up sequence, including init, native daemons, Zygote, and system_server. Debug and resolve system stability issues such as ANRs, crashes, memory leaks, framework reboots, and system_server watchdog triggers. Collaborate with HAL, BSP, and SoC teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware features into the Android Framework. Work closely with QA and product teams to reproduce and root-cause field issues related to boot and runtime stability. Debug and resolve XTS compliance test failures (CTS / VTS / GTS, etc.) and ensure VSR compliance. Implement and maintain system-level userspace/platform features as per project requirements. Work Experience Deep understanding of Android boot architecture and Linux internals. Strong experience with native daemons, Zygote, system_server, Android Framework services, init.rc, and application lifecycle. Solid knowledge of the Android build system, makefiles, and lunch configuration for new products. Understanding of Android system-level features such as Recovery Mode and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. Strong experience analyzing Android system logs (logcat, tombstones, bugreports, framework watchdog traces) and using debugging tools. Hands-on experience with fastboot and ADB. Proficiency in C/C++, Java, and shell scripting. Exposure to Binder IPC, system services, and AIDL. Soft Skills:? Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.?
