About The Role

Candidates must have:

Experience as a Business Analyst, OR in Agile Project Roles OR Management Consulting.
Exhibit Basic knowledge of Pharma value chain and medical devices.
Experience in leading client discussions/projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in supporting business activities like Thought leadership, POVs and RFPs
Market & Competitor Research: Experience in conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Skillset Summary (Good To Have)

Domain Knowledge: Pharma Mfg. Quality or Supply chain knowledge.
Exposure to Data Analytics, AI (Traditional, Gen AI, Agentic AI); ERP Tools (MES, SAP, Kinaxis, QMS etc.)
Domain Consulting: Strategy/IT consulting, Digital Transformation, Market Assessment.
Business Analysis:
Proven experience in business analysis, stakeholder management and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to develop and support business cases for clients.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and technology teams, to gather requirements and ensure successful product delivery.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum tools and managing/refining backlogs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities.
Being a self-starter and having an ability to navigate complexity to help clients define the right problem statements.
Ability to contribute to the growth of the Cognizant Consulting brand, beyond client deliverables by participating in and leading various initiatives.
Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation for senior stakeholders.
Engaging stakeholders across varied functions and understanding key business processes and requirements to shape technology-led outcomes.
Business analysis and experience with the Pharma industry is desirable.

Consulting Skillset

Effective participation in compiling information for RFP responses, focusing on collecting case studies and relevant project data.
Demonstrable interest in and basic awareness of the competitive landscape and key trends within the Life Sciences market.
Ability to identify process gaps and proactively suggest simple, implementable improvements to project or practice activities.
Consistent delivery of high-quality work, applying a proactive problem-solving approach and strong stakeholder communication.
Willingness to share project lessons learned and provide support or orientation to new team members.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a technology and business background who can envision how technology can solve business problems and create a competitive advantage for our clients. Such a candidate will have a customer-first view and will know various tools such as Personas, Journey Maps, etc. The candidate should have experience/understanding of pharmaceutical market. The candidate should be well-versed with the latest industry trends. They will also be conversant with Agile methodologies of project/product development along with the phases and ceremonies related to them. Experience in IT Consulting and Data & Analytics with be a definite plus. The candidates should also have experience of contributing to projects, business development and research activities.
