Job Description

Job Title Leader, Plant operations , cistern manufacturing plant , LIXIL India Pvt. Ltd Department Supply Chain management

Reports to Leader Plants Flushing Systems (Germany/Poland/India/KSA)

Role Objective

We are seeking an experienced professional for managing all plant operations including forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, production management, quality management, plant maintenance, new developments, vendor management and end-to-end resource management. This position will require independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining desired results. Incumbent interacts with internal/external shareholders in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate, own and manage manufacturing process (Demand & supply planning) with SCM team and with key stakeholders.
• Responsible for the financial result of the operation and inventory planning processes with local and Head quarter team.
• Analyze plant performances with proper gap analysis and identify deviations and opportunities.
• Work with SCM and marketing team to identify and improve on Business bottlenecks
• Establish effective productivity with lean manufacturing concept
• Establish, analyze, and report inventory accuracy metrics.
• Maintain plant safety with GMP
• Maintain high machine up time by implementing TPM concept
• Establish high quality standards, high yield with high level of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate department activities, including budgets, and make recommendations on expenses.
• Develop strategic plans to manage new projects and development activities
• Coordinate with local and overseas vendors for better material planning and component cost control
• Focus on continual improvements with proper KPIs setting and monitoring
• Maintain an enthusiastic working environment with good team culture
• Monitor and improve teams’ performance and morale by coordinating with local HR and Global team.
  
  

Job Specification

• BE/ME in Mechanical (Must)
• Electrical with MBA in operation will be add extra advantages. (Nice to have)
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in plant operations and should have min 4-5 years in leadership position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical modeling and data analysis.
• Hands on SAP required in MM, & PP & QA.
• Extremely good in Microsoft excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong business acumen, with understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and supply chain operations.
• Excellent judgment/decision making, conflict resolution, leadership and motivational skills.
• Basic Knowledge of plastic manufacturing process, tool development and material testing

Stakeholders: Management team, business development, marketing, supply chain, supplier local & overseas, Service & technical team.
