Role Description We are seeking a Lead UI Engineer, on-site position located in Mumbai. In this role, you will lead UI development initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly interfaces, and ensure seamless functionality across various platforms. Key responsibilities include designing, prototyping, and implementing high-quality user interfaces, leading UI architecture, and optimizing front-end performance. You will also mentor junior developers and stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends to implement cutting-edge designs. Responsibilities: ? Lead and manage a team of UI/UX designers and front-end developers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality UI solutions. ? Define and drive the overall UI strategy, aligning design objectives with business goals ? Oversee the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from requirement gathering to wireframing, prototyping, and final implementation. ? Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products. ? Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. ? Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience. ? Ensure best practices for accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility ? Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in the team. ? Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. ? Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and backend components. Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ? 17+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, with at least 5+ years in a management or leadership role. ? Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end JS frameworks with a focus on React.js. ? 5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) ? 5+ years of experience using Agile methodology. ? 3+ years of experience implementing products at customer sites. ? Experience in design systems development, user research, and usability testing. ? Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. ? In-depth knowledge of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards. ? Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design and front-end development. ? Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment. ? Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ? Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior members, and drive UI innovation.
