Location: Bangalore / Gurugram / Hyderabad, India Salary: INR 25,00,000 ? 40,00,000 Experience: 6?8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a Lead in Quality and Test Engineering (QTE) to ensure high-quality software product releases with a focus on functional correctness, scalability, and performance. The role involves leading a small team of test engineers, developing automation frameworks, and improving testing processes while closely collaborating with the firm?s fintech business domain. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automation tools and test frameworks. Plan and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. Mentor and manage a small team of test engineers. Collaborate with business and development teams to understand domain requirements and ensure accuracy of trading systems, workflows, and models. Drive innovation by introducing new tools, processes, and automation to improve efficiency and product quality. Coordinate test-case development, test-plan reviews, and generate repeatable testing procedures. Required Qualifications & Skills 6?8 years of relevant work experience in test engineering. Hands-on experience in designing test frameworks and white-box testing. Understanding of financial markets and asset classes (exchange-traded & OTC). Experience testing trading systems, broker connectivity, and client-server/distributed systems. Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java/.NET/C++) and scripting languages (Python/PERL). Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and API automation. Exposure to UI stacks (React/Redux) and UNIX systems. Strong process improvement, automation, and problem-solving skills.
