The impact you will have in this role : ?Being a member of IT CSS WRAFT Delivery team, you will support core Clearing and Settlement applications for DTC, NSCC and FICC as well as Wealth Management & Insurance Services will be managed by this group, which will also oversee Master Reference Data. What you?ll do Designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that meet the application's requirements. Selecting appropriate cloud services and components based on the project's needs. Writing code for cloud-native applications, considering factors like scalability, availability, and performance. Utilizing frameworks and tools suitable for cloud development. Designing and implementing microservices architectures, where applications are divided into small, independent, and deployable services. Working with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to package applications and dependencies for consistent deployment across different environments. Building applications that leverage serverless computing models, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions, for event-driven and scalable architectures. Integrating databases and data storage solutions in the cloud, considering factors like data consistency, availability, and performance. Creating APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to enable communication and integration with other services and applications. Integrating security best practices into the application design and development process. Setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications to ensure a streamlined development workflow. Implementing monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance, detect issues, and troubleshoot problems effectively. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth integration and operation of cloud applications. Prior Experience on Hybrid Cloud Migration would be an added advantage. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of related experience Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience Talents Needed for Success: Proficiency in using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, serverless, and networking. Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries like React, or Angular Understanding of responsive design principles. Backend Development: Expertise in server-side Java? Experience with backend frameworks like, Spring Boot, Spring Integration or Camel Database Management: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Skill in designing and optimizing database schemas. API Development: Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
