Lead Software Engineer

FutureFunding is building India's next-generation retail algo platform — low-latency, and built for scale. We're looking for a Lead Senior Engineer who doesn't just manage engineers but gets hands-on, makes hard architectural calls, and builds systems that work when markets are moving fast.

This is a ground-floor opportunity.

What You'll Own

→ End-to-end architecture of OMS, RMS, risk engine, and execution infrastructure

→ Scale the platform to 50k+ concurrent users

→ Build and lead a high-performance engineering team from scratch

→ Own infra decisions — cloud, co-location, latency optimization

→ Define protocols, coding standards, and engineering culture

Must-Have

• 5-8 years in software engineering, with at least 3–4 years in a senior technical leadership role
• Hands on expertise in Java SpringBoot
• Deep hands-on experience building trading systems — OMS, RMS, matching engines, or risk platforms
• Strong command of low-latency architecture — Java , Go, or C++ in production
• Experience with FIX protocol, market data feeds, exchange connectivity
• Proven ability to scale distributed systems under real production load
• Comfortable making technology decisions independently and defending them

Strong Bonus

• Prior experience at HFT firms, prop desks, exchanges, or SEBI-regulated brokers
• Exposure to AI/ML integration in risk profiling or algo strategy
• is a bonus
• Experience hiring and managing engineering teams of 5–20 people
