Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications that serve millions of users. Our stack uses Django and Python for the backend, React for the frontend, and is entirely hosted on AWS. You?ll collaborate across teams, drive innovation, and ensure our system?s reliability and performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves solving engineering challenges at scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django (or similar frameworks like FastAPI or Flask). Optimize database interactions and ensure efficient data handling and query performance. Lead technical initiatives, architecture decisions, and code reviews. Collaborate on frontend integrations with React for seamless user experiences. Implement and manage DSP (Demand Side Platform) API integrations. Deploy and monitor applications on AWS, troubleshooting issues in production. Participate in on-call rotations to address critical bugs and maintain system uptime. Required Qualifications 7+ years? experience building scalable systems from scratch. Proven expertise in Python programming, with a strong portfolio of hands-on projects. Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through complex algorithmic challenges or real-world applications. Solid understanding of DBMS, including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases. Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask?building and deploying production-grade applications. Hands-on experience in backend development, API design, and integration projects. Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
