Job Summary
We are looking for a high-performing and strategic Business Development & Sales Manager to lead growth initiatives for the Power Electronics vertical under L&T EPS. The role will drive order booking, revenue growth, market penetration and strategic partnerships across key verticals such as Power Converters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar Inverters, EV Charging Infrastructure, Traction Converters, EV Drives and Microgrid components.
The ideal candidate will bring strong customer orientation, deep market insights and a proven track record of B2B business development in the power electronics or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Identify and capture growth opportunities in high-potential segments: Power Converters, Solar Inverters, EV, Renewable Energy, Data Centers, Railways and Smart grid Infrastructure.
- Define and execute a scalable go-to-market (GTM) plan aligned with L&T EPS’s strategic priorities.
- Explore new geographies (SAARC, ASEAN) and adjacent offerings (Microgrids, DC Chargers, Solid-State Transformers).
- Build and manage strong customer relationships across EPCs, OEMs, Infra Developers, Discoms and Government/PSU bodies.
- Lead the sales cycle including lead generation, proposal creation, pricing strategy, techno-commercial negotiations and deal closure.
- Maintain a robust pipeline across strategic accounts and high-value deals.
- Craft and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to BESS, inverter and converter markets.
- Act as the voice of the customer within internal product and R&D teams.
- Enable consultative selling through technical understanding and solution articulation.
- Track policy, competitor landscape and technology trends impacting power electronics markets.
- Represent L&T EPS in relevant forums, industry alliances and customer events to enhance market presence.
- Collaborate on brand building and thought leadership initiatives.
- Drive achievement of order intake, revenue and margin targets.
- Use CRM and analytics tools for funnel visibility, forecasting and performance tracking.
- Ensure timely collections, commercial compliance and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service teams to ensure delivery excellence and Customer satisfaction
- Provide market insights and feedback for product roadmaps and investment planning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Power Electronics or related engineering fields; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales or account management in Power Electronics
- Strong understanding of inverters, converters, drives, chargers and grid/mobility applications.
- Demonstrated success in building strategic client relationships and winning large B2B deals.
- Excellent communication, techno-commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, proposal/bid management and sales reporting.
