About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Lead QA Engineer to drive the quality assurance strategy and execution for major products or multiple concurrent projects at Sureify. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on automation experience, and strong people management skills to lead multiple QA teams. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of QA delivery, ensure optimal resource utilization, and champion the adoption of advanced test automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and quality standards across the organization. Experience Requirements 10+ years of experience in software application or product testing 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools Key Responsibilities Core QA Management Oversee the end-to-end QA process across multiple products and projects, covering all types of testing ? functional, regression, performance, integration, and security. Also be hands-on executing all types of testing activities. Ensure thorough test planning, execution, and reporting aligned with business and technical goals. Testing & Defect Management Define and implement standardized defect management workflows in JIRA . Analyze defect trends and perform root-cause analysis to drive preventive quality measures. Ensure consistent, high-quality defect reporting and resolution across QA teams. Test Automation & CI/CD Integration Lead hands-on test automation efforts using Playwright , Selenium , or similar frameworks. Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and suites. Promote best practices for CI/CD adoption and ensure automation integration with deployment pipelines. Drive the use of JIRA , X-Ray , and related QA tools for optimal efficiency and traceability. Continuously enhance automation coverage and maintain robust, reliable automation suites. Quality Leadership & Strategic Planning Take full ownership of QA strategy and execution for one or more major products. Lead and mentor multiple QA teams, fostering collaboration and continuous skill development. Define and implement organizational-level QA standards, methodologies, and best practices. Contribute to cross-functional strategic planning and risk management. Review and refine test estimates, plans, and automation architectures for accuracy and scalability. Collaboration & Communication Represent QA in project planning, release readiness, and cross-functional leadership meetings. Facilitate strong communication between QA, development, and product management teams. Present key quality metrics, insights, and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Foster a culture of quality and accountability throughout the organization. Champion Agile testing principles and promote continuous improvement of QA processes. Define and monitor quality metrics using JIRA and X-Ray , providing visibility into QA effectiveness. Drive initiatives to implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that elevate QA maturity.
