About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Python Developer to support our engineering team WITH_REPLACED critical, time-sensitive development work. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the Python ecosystem and hands-on experience building scalable, maintainable systems. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role requiring both technical excellence and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using Python.
Collaborate WITH_REPLACED internal teams to understand requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality code.
Utilize the Pydantic ecosystem—particularly Pydantic AI—to define and validate data models and ensure data integrity across applications.
Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members when required.
Contribute to architecture discussions and recommend best practices for Python-based systems.
Champions AI architecture and governance across domains, leads cross-functional initiatives, sets technical direction, and ensures scalable and ethical AI integration. Works closely WITH_REPLACED business leaders to ensure that technical strategies and AI solutions directly support and accelerate business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Strong understanding of the Python ecosystem, frameworks, and libraries.
Proven experience WITH_REPLACED Pydantic and ideally Pydantic AI.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, REST APIs, and data validation principles.
Experience WITH_REPLACED modern development practices including CI/CD, testing frameworks, and version control (Git).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently WITH_REPLACED minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

Experience WITH_REPLACED AI/ML-related Python libraries or frameworks.
Exposure to data engineering or backend system architecture.
Familiarity WITH_REPLACED cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
