Role Description The Lead Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution of fire and security projects. This role includes leading project planning and design, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring technical solutions meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Lead Project Engineer will manage installation and commissioning activities for systems such as fire alarms, extinguishers, CCTV, access control, and related electrical components, while monitoring timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Daily work involves reviewing drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues on-site, preparing project documentation and reports, and supporting audits and inspections for compliance. The role also requires mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with technicians, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills for designing, reviewing, and implementing fire and security systems.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to handle schedules, resources, budgets, and risk management across multiple projects.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, technicians, and cross-functional teams, and to prepare clear documentation and reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline; advanced certifications in fire safety or security systems are an advantage.
• Experience leading installation and commissioning projects for fire protection, security, or building services systems, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of relevant Indian safety regulations, codes, and standards, along with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Proven ability to lead teams on-site, solve technical problems under time constraints, and use project management tools for tracking and reporting.
