Job Title - Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Architect (MERN)

Job Description -

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) who also brings strong Technical Architect expertise, product design understanding, and proven team‑handling experience. This role drives end‑to‑end technical decision‑making, leads engineering teams, collaborates on product strategy, and ensures delivery excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Technical Architecture & Solution Engineering

• Design scalable and secure MERN‑based architectures.
• Build responsive front‑end applications using React.js, Zustand/Redux, Hooks, Next.js.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices using Nest js, Node.js, Express.js.
• Lead system design discussions and create architecture diagrams.
• Choose the right frameworks, libraries, and tools as per project needs.
• Ensure architectural consistency across services and components.
• Review and optimize database schemas, indexing, and performance.
• Manage MongoDB data models, aggregations, performance tuning.
• Implement best practices for security, code quality, CI/CD, versioning.
• Write reusable, modular, and clean code.

Product Design & User Experience Collaboration

• Convert product requirements into technical designs and user flows.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX and product teams during concept and design phases.
• Participate in usability reviews, wireframe discussions, and prototype evaluations.
• Provide technical feasibility checks during product design.

Team Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–12 developers across front‑end and back‑end.
• Conduct code reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical coaching.
• Own sprint planning, estimations, workload management, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure alignment between engineering and product priorities.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and teamwork.

Senior / Lead Level Expectations

• Act as the technical owner for one or more products or modules.
• Drive architectural decisions and maintain long‑term technical roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development cycle.
• Guide junior and mid‑level developers with structured mentorship plans.
• Conduct high‑level code refactoring, performance improvements, and architectural upgrades.
• Lead cross‑team communication involving product, QA, and stakeholders.

Architect‑Level Expectations

• Define enterprise‑level architecture patterns and best practices for MERN and microservices.
• Oversee scalable infrastructure design across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Evaluate new technologies and create POCs for architectural advancement.
• Maintain governance on security, performance, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with leadership on product direction, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Influence long-term product and technology vision.

Required Skills - Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization pipelines.
• Working principle of CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving skills.

Leadership & Behavioral Skills

• Strong leadership qualities with experience leading engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business requirements.
• Ownership mindset with focus on delivery, quality, and scalability.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7–12 years of overall experience in full‑stack development.
• 3+ years of experience in architecting or leading teams.
• Prior experience in product companies or fast‑paced startup environments - preferrable.
