Description
We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day back‑office operations at a high‑volume outpatient care setting. This role combines hands‑on clinical expertise with team leadership and operational oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys coaching clinical staff, and is passionate about delivering high‑quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small clinical support team, including medical assistants and technicians
Manage daily back‑office operations, staffing coverage, scheduling, payroll review, and PTO approvals
Support patient care delivery by assisting clinically as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
Partner with leadership to meet quality, performance, and patient experience metrics
Monitor clinical performance indicators and use data to drive improvements
Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and internal clinical standards
Manage medical supplies, equipment readiness, and preventative maintenance
Address staff performance concerns and implement coaching or corrective actions when necessary
Required Qualifications
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Active LPN license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) certification
Minimum 5 years of experience in an outpatient clinical or healthcare setting
At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience with direct reports
Strong clinical knowledge, including vital signs, specimen collection, medication administration, and patient triage
Experience working with EMR systems
BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting geriatric patient populations
Background in value‑based or primary care environments
Exposure to quality metrics, audits, or clinical dashboards
Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $37.00/hr.
