Lead Network Engineer responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure. This role drives architecture decisions, leads complex technical initiatives, and provides technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams. Responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions aligned with business objectives and ensuring network resiliency across environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AWS network connectivity solutions (including Direct Connect), ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures aligned with enterprise standards
• Lead communication of complex technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making and alignment
• Design and implement automation frameworks to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability of network operations
• Apply Agile methodologies to lead delivery of network initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Serve as a subject matter expert across networking domains, guiding design decisions and resolving complex issues
• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
• Own architecture and design decisions for complex switching environments supporting enterprise scalability
• Lead the design of enterprise routing strategies ensuring performance, resiliency, and reliability across environments
• Lead architecture of secure wireless networking solutions supporting voice, video, and business-critical applications
• Provide expert-level guidance on LAN technologies and integration across enterprise environments
• Lead the design of multi-environment network architectures including IP address management, DNS, and redundancy solutions
• Oversee implementation and lifecycle management of network software platforms aligned with enterprise standards
• Lead operations and optimization of multi-site network environments with a focus on performance, availability, and resiliency
• Lead complex network initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery against objectives
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and driving resolution
• Provide oversight and guidance for network operations to ensure availability of services to authorized users
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network issues while driving continuous improvement and prevention strategies
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to network engineering team members and review technical deliverables

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
