Role Description

Key Responsibilities

Fiori impact assessment for S/4HANA 2023 upgrade, including identification of deprecated, changed, or obsolete Fiori apps and components
Migrate and remediate standard and custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring compatibility with S/4HANA 2023
Adapt existing Fiori apps to align with:
Updated SAPUI5 versions
S/4HANA data model and simplification items
New Fiori UX standards
Support Fiori Launchpad configuration, including catalogs, groups/spaces, tiles, and roles during post‑upgrade stabilization
Work closely with ABAP, Basis, and functional teams to resolve issues arising from backend changes, CDS view adjustments, or OData service modifications
Perform unit, integration, and regression testing of Fiori apps post‑upgrade and support defect resolution
Document migration outcomes, technical changes, and known limitations; support production cutover and hypercare activities

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 experience, with hands‑on work in S/4HANA environments
Proven experience supporting S/4HANA upgrades or migrations, preferably across multi‑release upgrades
Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, OData services and CDS views
Experience with Fiori app lifecycle management, including adaptation, extension, and retirement decisions
Understanding of SAP Simplification Item List, Fiori reference library, and SAP upgrade implications

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in upgrade‑driven, time‑bound programs
