Role Description

Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities

Outcomes

  • Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  • Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
  • Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution
  • Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions
  • Optimises efficiency cost and quality.

  • Advise Software Developers on design and development of features and components with a deep understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client.

Manage Project

  • Manage delivery of modules and/or manage user stories

  • Perform defect RCA and mitigation

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: All UST Locations (India) Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience Employment Type: Full-Time ________________________________________ Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in either ServiceNow SPM (Project Portfolio Management + Application Portfolio Management) or ServiceNow ITAM (Hardware Asset Management + Software Asset Management Pro). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and stakeholders. ________________________________________ Primary Skill Specializations (Choose Any One): Option 1: SPM (PPM + APM)

  • Strong hands-on experience in Project Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, and Financial Planning modules.
  • Expertise in Application Portfolio Management, including application rationalization workflows, data ingestion, TCO/ROI calculations, and integration with CMDB & Business Capabilities.
  • Experience working with Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), Agile Development, and SAFe modules is a plus.
  • Ability to build dashboards, roadmaps, reports, and workspace experiences specific to PPM/APM. Option 2: ITAM (HAM + SAM Pro)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) including lifecycle processes, asset models, CI relationships, barcode scanning, and automation for receiving/stocking/disposal.
  • Proficiency in Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) including: o License models o Reconciliation o Software asset lifecycle o Normalization o Publisher packs o Entitlements & subscriptions o SAM workflows
  • Experience with Discovery, Normalization, Reconciliation engine, and integrations with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or other asset sources. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Solution Development & Customization
  • Design and develop high-quality solutions across selected ServiceNow modules (SPM or ITAM).
  • Build and customize forms, workflows, Flow Designer flows, UI actions, client scripts, server scripts, and Script Includes.
