Role Description Job Title: DevOps Engineer We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux system administration and scripting . You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing system configurations, and securing our systems across various environments. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and automate Linux-based infrastructure (CentOS/RHEL preferred). Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Develop and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation. Create and maintain automation scripts in Bash and Python. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments. Participate in vulnerability discovery, patching, and overall security hardening. Manage both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. Analyze system logs and metrics using tools such as Splunk for data processing and insights. Primary Skills 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Linux System Administration roles. Proficiency with Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows. Proficient in handling JSON and YAML formats for automation and configuration. Solid understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and system monitoring. Secondary Skills Experience integrating and working with RESTful APIs. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack. Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker). Understanding of orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery pipelines. Good To Have Skills Experience with hybrid infrastructure (On-Prem + Cloud). Knowledge of security compliance and audit standards. Familiarity with system benchmarking and performance tuning. Basic knowledge of database systems and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated with a passion for automation, system reliability, and operational excellence. Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
