About the Role

We are looking for a scrappy, curious, and resourceful researcher who can help us build large, high-quality databases of businesses and institutions across India.

Your job will be to find and structure contact information at scale that our inside sales team will use for outreach.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys:

• digging deep on the internet
• discovering hidden data sources
• figuring out creative “jugaad” ways to collect information
• building structured datasets from messy sources

If you enjoy solving problems with limited resources and figuring things out independently, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

Build Large Sales Databases

You will create structured databases of stakeholders across India including:

• MSMEs and small businesses
• ITIs and skilling institutes
• Training organizations
• NGOs and community organizations

Each dataset should include:

• Name
• Organization
• Phone number
• Email (if available)
• Location (State, District, Pin Code)
• Website / Social media (if available)
• Category / Industry

Find Data Using Creative Research Methods

You will gather information from sources such as:

• Government portals and directories
• Public datasets
• Google Maps and local listings
• LinkedIn and professional networks
• Industry associations and directories
• Online communities and forums

We encourage automation and smart research methods wherever possible.

Clean and Structure Data

• Remove duplicates
• Verify contact information where possible
• Maintain clean and well-structured spreadsheets
• Organize leads by geography and industry

Support Sales Teams

• Prepare call-ready lead lists for inside sales
• Segment leads by region and industry
• Continuously expand and update the database

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

• Strong internet research skills
• Comfortable using Google Sheets / Excel
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Resourceful mindset

Good to Have

• Experience with lead generation or market research
• Familiarity with data scraping tools
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as:
• Apify
• PhantomBuster
• Octoparse
• Python scraping

Willingness to learn new tools quickly is more important than prior experience.
