Lead Frontend Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Front-end developer who is proficient with React.js, with a keen eye for user interface and layout and the ability to challenge the status quo. You will create a web and mobile User interface, design and develop a UI framework for our product development needs. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will be involved in code reviews and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Responsibilities Analyse specifications and business needs to determine appropriate technologies and configurations to meet those business requirements. Lead, Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Help maintain code quality using best Coding practices while playing an Individual contributor role. Translate storyboards and use cases into functional applications. Read wireframes and produce clean front-end code, and when UI wireframes are not available, come up with basic UI design. Coordinate with back-end developers in integrating with front-end code. Perform analysis and provide RCAs for issues raised in production systems. Ensure cross-browser compatibility while building applications. Collaborate with business users and the creative team for visualising requirements better. Mentor small teams to grow their skills and abilities, including code reviews. Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, seeing them through from start to finish. Requirements 4+ years of software development experience with excellent coding skills, experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. 3+ years of experience in MERN application development (preferably ReactJS). Experience in state management tools like Redux, Redux Saga or Thunk. Experience in designing and building architecture for highly available, scalable and high-performing applications. Hands-on experience in designing and building user-friendly web applications. Experience working with RESTful APIs and understanding of Database technology (SQL and NoSQL). Experience in native JavaScript, OOPs concept, data structures, algorithms and problem-solving. Experience in development of responsive designs on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
