Lead Enterprise Architect

Why this role, why now: you’ll create enterprise-wide coherence across domains, convert strategy into capability-led roadmaps, and ensure governance enables delivery while reducing risk and technical debt.

What you’ll do

• Shape & govern Spark’s enterprise-wide technology direction.
• Lead a team of Enterprise + Solution Architects and lift the practice.
• Partner with senior leaders across Product, Delivery, Platforms, Security and Data to align priorities and roadmaps.
• Run a pragmatic governance rhythm (forums, decision register, exception management) that helps teams move fast with confidence.

What you’ll bring (must-haves)

• Proven enterprise/portfolio architecture leadership in a complex organisation.
• Strong capability modelling + roadmap development.
• Governance leadership (principles/standards, design review, trade-offs & exceptions).
• People leadership: coaching, mentoring, craft uplift, and quality expectations.
• Exec-level communication: framing options, risk and trade-offs.
• Modern architecture practices (modularity, APIs/integration, cloud, data, secure-by-design) in agile delivery contexts.
