Key Responsibilities

• Generate technical content from existing documentation and tool manuals
• Strategize, Plan and execute content level and description
• Interact with technicians (end-users) and update chunks for improved productivity
• Write engaging content from technician point of view
• Have proven skills in describing and explaining complex concepts and procedures
• Candidate should possess 5-10 years of experience in technical writing
• Clear Strategic thinker and team skills are critical
• Coordinate with Global teams and attend calls, if needed
• Have excellent written/verbal communication skills, particularly in English
• Be an excellent team player
• Be able to work under pressure and meet all deadlines
• Can work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic work environment
• Have worked on user documentation, preferably online as well as PDF
• Experience with various documentation tools

Work Experience

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining support material such as Product Manuals, Operating Manuals, SPIR, procedures for Oil & Gas equipment. As a member of a small, dynamic documentation team and an integral part of the enterprise organization within an agile environment, he or she will make sure that instructional guides and reference manuals are clear enough for new users and detailed enough for advanced ones.
