Position Summary Lead a team of mobile engineers to develop software for mobile devices using web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, etc. The position requires excellent communication and people leadership skills, experience working in agile environments, and technical expertise around front end web design and back-end development. Responsibilities Manage a team of mobile developers who are responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. Work closely with product management teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for mobile application development projects. Collaborate with cross functional teams (designers, data analysts) to ensure successful implementation of mobile apps. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies related to mobile app development. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and reliability. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for mobile app development. Contribute to the growth and success of the mobile engineering team by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and approaches to solving complex problems related to mobile app development. Collaborate effectively across different departments within the organization to achieve common goals related to mobile app development initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience required; Master?s degree preferred but not necessary if you have sufficient relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of front end web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React or AngularJS. Experience building RESTful APIs and database management systems (e.g., MySQL). Familiarity with cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to lead a team of mobile developers through effective delegation and prioritization techniques. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines consistently. Strong analytical and decision making capabilities coupled with creative thinking skills. Proficiency in working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
