Job Description

In depth knowledge of forging processes, tooling and metallurgy related to exotic materials like Aluminium alloy, Titanium alloys, Super alloys, Duplex/Super Duplex Stainless steel, PH Steels etc.
Good knowledge of manufacturing route and technology of input raw material (RM) like billets/ Ingots for these exotic grades, established suppliers and other aspects of supply chain management for such exotic grade RM.
Hands on experience of development of forging profiles, feasibility study of open die forgings, Input weight calculation, heat treatment profiles and sampling plans for mechanical testing
Should have experience of design and analysis of the new tools and dies for open die forgings to improve the productivity and cost optimization
Should have good knowledge of different kind of heat treatment processes ,different material grades and its process parameter for forging and heat treatment
Sound knowledge of various national and International standards/ Codes applicable for exotic material and testing etc.
Hands- on experience of AutoCAD, MS office and Knowledge of Drawing preparation tools and various aspects of Engineering drawing.
Should have experience in review of technical specifications/ Part drawings and develop documents for customer approval and for manufacturing shops.
Exposure to 3D modelling, simulation of forging and casting processes
Exposure to ISO and other quality systems
