Job Purpose Handling Direct taxation matter of the group , Ensuring statutory compliance under direct tax laws , Incharge of verification of all IT and e-TDS Returns, Scrutiny and Transfer Pricing assessment, Attending assessment / appeal proceedings, Advice on IT matter to group companies, etc Handling Direct taxation matter of the group , Ensuring statutory compliance under direct tax laws , Incharge of verification of all IT and e-TDS Returns, Scrutiny and Transfer Pricing assessment, Attending assessment / appeal proceedings, Advice on IT matter to group companies, etc ORGANISATION CHART Accountabilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Performance Indicators Statutory Compliances: Ensuring that all statutory compliances with regard to Advance income tax / TDS / Annual income tax are met within the specified due dates All compliances within the due dates Pre-review: Ensuring accuracy on verification of the Tax Audit Reports / Tax Provision / Income Tax Return/ quarterly TDS returns / Advance Tax payments / Revised Return so that all possible claims / deductions under the IT laws are made. All claims / deductions and no mistakes in the reviewed work Other Compliances: Ensuring all notices are replied within the given time limits and all assessment / appeal / other hearings are attended with proper documents and further course of action regarding filing of appeals and / or rectification petitions are undertaken. All notices are complied with and all hearings are attended with proper documents and preparation Expert advice: Replying to queries referred by the internal members on taxation matters including TDS No delay in responding to queries MIS and AOP: Maintenance and updating of record of Master file / Litigation status, upkeep of records, Preparation of draft AOP, Monthly status reports, etc Proper maintenance and updation of records KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Relationship & Liaison: Ensuring positive and cordial relationship with external authorities for smooth flow of work Income Tax Departments INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Support of HOD and Finance & Accounts in compiling of details, documents for Direct tax compliances and to represent before external authorities Clarifying queries of Sector F&A and Sector Taxation FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Direct Tax Compliance 52 entities Other Dimensions Team Size 5 Nos Handling of Corporate and Founders entities 52 Nos in Direct Tax compliance Support to Airport Sector, Property Sector entities in Direct Tax compliance Education Qualifications Chartered Accountant Bachelor of Commerce Relevant Experience Total experience of 15 years: 8 years pre-qualification in Taxation, Finance & Accounts 7 years after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in Taxation, Finance & Accounts COMPETENCIES Networking Personal Effectiveness Teamwork & Interpersonal influence Stakeholder Focus Entrepreneurship Capability Building Social Awareness Planning & Decision Making Execution & Results Strategic Orientation Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking
