Lead Data Engineer

Position: Senior/Lead Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid work Schedule in Hyderabad

Joining Availability: Immediate Joining Required (15 days)

Interview Process: 1 round technical interview via MS Teams

Requirements:

• Hands on experience with AtScale or comparable OLAP/Cube technologies (Semantic layer/analytical modeling)
• Strong hands on experience with SQL for analytics and data transformation
• Solid Python experience in data engineering contexts
• Deep experience with cloud data platforms - GCP and BigQuery experience highly preferred
• Proven experience in production/operational support with the ability to debug complex data issues using logs, metrics, and system traces
• Experience with Airflow/PubSub/Dataform
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and proactivity- a technical leader
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to balance technical depth with business facing analytics needs

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to multiple semantic-layer BI technologies and to CI/CD (Jenkins) for data pipelines
• Exposure to or interest in Ai/Agentic tooling for data operations
• Google Cloud Certifications

Job Description:

We are hiring a senior/lead level data engineer to anchor our enterprise data warehouse marketing and online organization supporting web apps which sit on top of it, plus brand/channel marketing integrations. In this role, you will go deep on the platform, own its stability, and set the technical standard for the team. Operational stability and reliability are the #1 priority- you'll keep business critical pipelines and reporting healthy today, while shaping the roadmap to AI/agentic accelerators as the environment matures. We are looking for a proactive technical leader with a genuine sense of ownership and accountability - someone who drives issues and failures to resolution
