This role is for one of our clients Industry: Financial Services Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain the infrastructure that powers a large-scale trading and portfolio management ecosystem. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced, mission-critical environments and has deep expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and system reliability. You will play a key role in enabling secure, scalable, and high-availability production systems that serve real-time financial workloads. Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Management Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and fault tolerance. Oversee cloud resource provisioning, cost optimization, and security controls across multi-region deployments. Automation & Deployment Engineering Build, enhance, and maintain automated CI/CD workflows that support rapid release cycles. Introduce and enforce infrastructure automation practices to reduce manual overhead and deployment risk. Data & System Performance Administer highly available databases with a focus on query optimization, replication, and performance tuning. Ensure data durability, integrity, and disaster recovery readiness across production systems. Observability & Reliability Engineering Implement end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation systems to ensure proactive incident response. Drive reliability initiatives, root-cause analysis, and post-mortem improvements. Collaboration & Technical Leadership Work closely with software engineers to refine deployment strategies and improve service performance. Lead infrastructure discussions, establish best practices, and guide junior DevOps/Cloud engineers. Security & Compliance Enablement Integrate security automation into pipelines, enforce least-privilege access policies, and support auditing/compliance requirements. Required Background & Skills ? 5?8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering ? Deep hands-on expertise with AWS or GCP (multi-service deployments, IAM, VPC, networking, compute, storage) ? Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash ? Solid experience managing PostgreSQL, SQL-based systems, or Amazon Aurora ? Proficient with Docker , container orchestration, and microservice deployments ? Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) ? Advanced Linux/Unix administration, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting skills ? Ability to operate in high-stakes, low-latency, production environments Preferred / Nice To Have ?? Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability stacks ?? Familiarity with cloud security posture management, container scanning, or DevSecOps tooling ?? Background working in fintech, trading systems, or real-time compute environments ??
