A Lead -Business Intelligence Developer with strong expertise in data analysis, solution design, and end-to-end troubleshooting. Adept at leading and mentoring BI developers while driving best practices across the team. Works as a strategic advisor to stakeholders and proposing improvements, and ensuring BI solutions enable business decisions rather than just fulfilling requests. Job Profile We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, data visualization, and ETL processes. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support business intelligence and data analytics needs. Qualifications Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on SQL, Python, data visualization, and ETL. Responsibilites 1. Database Management and SQL Development: a. Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data extraction and reporting needs. b. Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing. c. Ensure data integrity and consistency across various data sources. 2. Python Programming: a. Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation, ETL processes, and automation tasks. b. Integrate Python with various data sources, APIs, and BI tools. c. Implement data validation and quality checks using Python. 3. ETL Development: a. Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using Alteryx, Databricks, Dataiku, and Microsoft Fabric. b. Integrate various data sources and ensure data is processed accurately and efficiently. c. Optimize and tune data workflows for performance and reliability. d. Utilize ETL tools (Alteryx, Databricks, Dataiku, and Microsoft Fabric) for data blending, preparation, and analytics. e. Use ETL tools (Alteryx, Databricks, Dataiku, and Microsoft Fabric) for collaborative data science and analytics projects. 4. Data Visualization and Reporting: a. Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). b. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. c. Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reports. 5. Data Analysis and Insights: a. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. b. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. c. Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis. 6. Collaboration and Communication: a. Work closely with data architects, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. b. Document technical specifications, data models, and ETL processes. Ideal Candidate ? Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Expertise in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, SSIS, Alteryx, Dataiku, MS fabric, Azure Databricks). Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
