Lead Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, excel at breaking down complex problems, and have the ability to drive data-backed decisions. This role demands effective communication with stakeholders & strategic alignment of data initiatives with business goals

What you will do

1. Technical Proficiency:

• Utilize SQL, Python/R, Excel for data analysis and insights extraction.
• Apply mathematical, statistical, or predictive modeling techniques to analyze data and support decision-making.
• Develop and implement relevant visualizations to drive insights based on the context.

1. Problem-Solving:

• Break down complex problems, identify root causes, formulate hypotheses, and draw comprehensive conclusions.
• Approach problem-solving in a structured manner, evaluating second-order impacts and addressing challenges/risks.

1. Stakeholder Management:

• Effectively communicate insights and drive data-backed decisions with stakeholders and leadership.
• Define and align key metric definitions with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple work streams and coordinate interdependencies.

Must have skills

• Total of 5 to 7 years of experience
• Proven experience in a lead business analyst role or similar capacity.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and Metabase.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong alignment with business goals and strategic vision.
• Innovative mindset with a willingness to take calculated risks.
