We are seeking an experienced Test Architect with strong expertise in banking systems. The role involves leading end-to-end testing across core banking, payments, and lending applications. The candidate will ensure high-quality deliverables, collaborate with stakeholders, lead testing teams, and drive continuous process improvements through metrics and best practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and governance for large-scale banking applications.
• Lead end-to-end testing across Core Banking, Payments, and Lending systems.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
• Manage and mentor QA teams, ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Oversee functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing cycles.
• Track, analyze, and publish test metrics, KPIs, and quality reports.
• Identify risks, defects, and bottlenecks, and drive resolution.
• Drive automation adoption and improve testing efficiency.
• Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement preventive measures.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA, with strong experience in banking domain.

Deep understanding of Core Banking, Payments (RTGS/NEFT/UPI/SWIFT), and Lending systems.

Experience in defining test architecture, strategy, and frameworks.

Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).

Experience in API testing (Postman, REST services).

Strong expertise in integration testing and end-to-end validation.

Ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps pipelines.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

Experience in data validation and SQL queries.

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking.

Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
