Role Description The Lathe Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring lathe machines to produce precision components for medical devices in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, adjusting machine settings, and inspecting finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. The role also involves performing routine maintenance on machines, reporting any equipment issues, and collaborating with production and quality teams to optimize efficiency and safety. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, requiring consistent adherence to safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including experience with lathe machines and basic Milling operations.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings for precision machining.
  • Candidates should possess Maintenance skills for performing routine checks, minor repairs, and upkeep of machining equipment.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or machining environment, preferably in medical devices or precision engineering.
  • Understanding of quality control procedures, measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and safety standards.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, meet production targets, and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Vocational training, diploma, or certification in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
