Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in the Mohali district. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and support quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results. Responsibilities include preparing samples, labeling and documenting specimens, recording and analyzing test data, and assisting with validation and calibration of instruments. The role also involves following safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized lab environment, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams to support Atulya Health’s hospice eligibility workflows. The Laboratory Technician will contribute to process improvement and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and practical experience as Laboratory Technicians.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and related tools.
  • Candidates should possess quality control skills, including adherence to standard operating procedures and accuracy checks.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills for interpreting test results and troubleshooting laboratory issues.
  • Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • Knowledge of clinical laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain documentation, and work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment is preferred.
