Job Description
Role Context:
As Plum continues to scale across marketplaces, this role plays a critical part in driving sustainable growth, visibility, and profitability on key platforms. The Key Account Manager will work at the intersection of revenue, execution, and partnerships, owning marketplace performance while collaborating closely with internal teams.
Core Mandate
To own and grow assigned marketplace accounts by driving topline growth, improving contribution margins, and ensuring best-in-class execution across visibility, availability, and consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own business performance and P&L for assigned marketplaces
- Drive GMV growth through assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and visibility levers
- Act as the primary point of contact with the marketplace category and account managers
- Plan and execute monthly, quarterly, and event-led sales calendars (EOSS, BBD, GIF, Prime Day, etc.)
- Ensure strong hygiene across listings, content, ratings & reviews, and compliance
- Work with marketing teams on marketplace advertising (AMS / sponsored ads) and ROI tracking
- Forecast demand and align with supply chain teams to ensure high fill rates and minimal stock ageing
- Track and analyse performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion, ROAS, contribution) and drive corrective actions
- Partner with brand, finance, supply chain and operations teams on launches and ongoing initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in marketplace or e-commerce account management
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, or Quick Commerce
- Experience in FMCG / Beauty / Consumer brands preferred
Skills & Mindset
- Strong understanding of marketplace business models and commercial levers
- High execution rigour and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with comfort in data and dashboards
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ownership mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement
