Introduction To Role
This Key Account Manager role leads across a wider region, mentoring others and crafting ways of working beyond a single territory. Accountabilities
- Drive impactful engagement with Oncology healthcare professionals, building positive relationships that support appropriate on‑label prescribing.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and implement a clear local strategy and business plan that meets or exceeds sales and call execution goals.
- Own sales performance, ensuring forecasts and budgets are achieved or surpassed in line with therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain deep insight into local markets, demographics and access dynamics to inform decisions and uncover new opportunities.
- Complete all training requirements, including product examinations, to maintain high scientific and clinical credibility in every interaction.
- Operate with integrity at all times, complying with all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and the distribution of samples.
- Share learnings across the region, mentor colleagues and help embed new approaches that improve launch excellence and commercial effectiveness.
- Collaborate across functions to shape the cancer care environment, supporting care teams and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Bachelor’s degree
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience in Oncology or specialty care sales
- Proven track record in key account management or complex stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and translate into action plans
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and navigate matrix organisations
- Demonstrated capability in mentoring or coaching peers
