Description

Join the Market Data Site Reliability & Engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving the systems that distribute real-time market data (e.g., stock prices, FX, indices) across the firm. These platforms process billions of updates daily and require high availability and extremely low latency.

You will work within a global engineering team responsible for the day-to-day operation, integration, and reliability of the market data distribution platform. The role involves supporting production systems, collaborating with development teams on releases, integrating client requirements, and continuously improving system performance, stability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support global market data distribution systems.

• Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability in a high-throughput environment.

• Work with development teams to test, deploy, and maintain new software releases.

• Integrate client and business requirements into production systems.

• Perform system maintenance including OS upgrades, security updates, and software deployments.

• Identify opportunities to improve stability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• UNIX/Linux: Strong understanding of system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.

• Shell scripting: Ability to read, write, and maintain UNIX/Linux scripts.

• Programming: Experience with Python preferred; Java, C++, or Perl are a plus.

• Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP protocols and data transfer concepts.

Salary & Benefits

• 7,500,000 HUF gross/year (months 0–12)

• 8,812,500 HUF gross/year (months 13–24)
