About the Role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with a good eye for pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their video editing career who wants to grow their skills while working on real projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Create smooth transitions, motion graphics, and animations using Adobe After Effects
• Perform color grading and color correction to ensure consistent, high-quality visuals across all videos
• Sync audio, add background music, sound effects, and basic audio cleanup
• Add text overlays, lower thirds, captions/subtitles, and simple titles
• Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand project requirements and deliverables
• Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets efficiently
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high editing quality and attention to detail
• Take feedback constructively and revise edits as needed

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (cutting, sequencing, multi-cam editing, audio syncing)
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, animated transitions, basic compositing, keyframing)
• Good understanding of color grading/correction principles
• Basic knowledge of video formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and export settings for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling through video
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction/feedback well
• A portfolio or reel showcasing previous editing work (required)

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with motion graphics templates (MOGRT)
• Basic knowledge of sound design
• Familiarity with social media content formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Experience with stock footage/music libraries
