Role Description The Junior Video Editor will work full time on-site in Mysore, supporting the production team in creating and refining video content for various campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting clips, synchronizing audio, and adding basic transitions and effects under guidance from senior editors. The role involves organizing media assets, maintaining project file structures, and ensuring deliverables meet technical and brand standards. The Junior Video Editor will collaborate closely with producers, designers, and other editors to execute creative briefs, implement feedback, and meet deadlines. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in video editing and gain hands-on experience in a professional production environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and basic Video Production workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and visual consistency across shots.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
• Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative direction, and openness to feedback.
• Ability to work on-site in Mysore, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel showcasing editing work is strongly preferred.
