Role Summary
The Junior Systems Engineer supports enterprise Windows and Active Directory environments by assisting with system administration, troubleshooting, and operational tasks. This role is intended for engineers with at least two years of hands-on experience who are continuing to build depth in Windows engineering, identity services, and infrastructure operations while working under guidance from senior engineers

Role Summary
The Junior Systems Engineer supports enterprise Windows and Active Directory environments by assisting with system administration, troubleshooting, and operational tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments
- Perform routine Active Directory tasks including user, group, and computer management
- Support troubleshooting of system, authentication, and access-related issues
- Assist with patching, upgrades, and system health checks
- Monitor systems and escalate issues according to operational procedures
- Support AWS Managed Active Directory and related cloud services under guidance
- Maintain and update technical documentation and runbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams during incidents and projects
- Follow security best practices and compliance requirementsProvide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as needed.
- Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers.
- Plan and implement life cycle management of software and hardware.
- Keep abreast of industry and technology trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT field, in addition to two years applicable experience in the design/administration/support of one or more platforms; or 2 years of experience in Windows Server design and implementation of large enterprise environments
- 2+ years of experience supporting Windows Server environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory concepts
- Experience with Windows troubleshooting and system administration tasks
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- VMware Hyperconverged Infrastructure and Cloud Management experience required
- Ability to produce high quality results, work in a collaborative environment by embracing diverse perspectives and with a solution-based approach.
- Adapt communication clearly and concisely based on team dynamics and expresses thoughts & ideas effectively.
- Ability to engage effectively with peers and stakeholders to build trust and reliable working relationships.
- Ability to understand business processes, implement innovative solutions, guide juniors on continuous improvement by constantly updating oneself on current technology & trends.
- Inquisitive to understand customer and business expectations while creating value addition on technical solutions.
- Exposure to identity and access management concepts
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Understanding of monitoring and incident management processes
- Interest in learning enterprise-scale infrastructure and automation
