Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for Service Desk coordination, end-user support, desktop administration, and assisting in day-to-day IT infrastructure operations. This role provides excellent exposure to enterprise IT environments, system administration, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle IT support tickets, incidents, and service requests through the ticketing system.
  • Provide desktop and laptop support for Windows and Linux users.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and access requests.
  • Support printers, scanners, peripherals, and conference room equipment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Perform employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Assist in patch management and software deployment.
  • Support email, collaboration, and productivity tools.
  • Monitor system health and escalate critical issues.
  • Maintain documentation for IT procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with Active Directory user and group management.
  • Knowledge of software installation, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field
