Junior Security Analyst

We are looking for a vigilant and analytical Junior Security Analyst to help monitor, identify, and respond to security threats in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activity
• Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents
• Support vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities
• Help maintain security tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems
• Document security incidents, findings, and remediation steps
• Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to strengthen overall security posture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field; freshers are welcome to apply
• 0–4 years of experience in security operations or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security protocols
• Familiarity with common security threats and vulnerability types
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information in a remote setup

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar)
• Basic certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus
• Familiarity with scripting for security automation (Python, PowerShell)
