Role Description The Junior Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This position supports the sales team in identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and presenting Digital Inertia’s marketing services to potential clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outbound calls and messages, scheduling and attending client meetings, assisting in preparing proposals and presentations, and updating CRM records with accurate sales information. The Junior Sales Associate will collaborate with marketing colleagues to understand current campaigns, follow up on inbound inquiries, and help nurture long-term client relationships. The role also involves tracking basic sales metrics, reporting progress to senior team members, and continuously learning about the company’s service offerings and the broader marketing landscape.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in sales and client-facing work, with foundational skills in lead generation and relationship building.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English; proficiency in local languages within the Greater Chennai Area is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, digital campaigns, or branding, with willingness to learn more about the industry.
- Comfort using productivity tools and CRM or sales tracking systems, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- High level of motivation, accountability, and resilience, with the ability to work in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with sales and marketing teams on-site.
- Educational background in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in sales or customer service is beneficial, though candidates with strong potential and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
