The role

We are currently looking for a full-time Junior Research Manager, working on a hybrid basis from our Budapest office (home office up to 4 days a week).

Your key responsibilities will be, as part of a team:

  • Plan, prepare and manage projects, this includes ensuring questionnaires, study guides, sampling and code-lists align with Kynetec’s standards.
  • Oversee and manage each project stage (with support from Team leader).
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout project execution (Field Work Team, Scripting Team, Data Processing Team).
  • Analyze data using Kynetec’s tools and processes.
  • Prepare project deliverables (Interactive Excel, PPT).


Education, Work Experience and Attitude Required:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in agri-business-related topics/social sciences.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative market research.
  • A pragmatic and analytical mindset.
  • An interest in food sector, agriculture, plants’ production in general.
  • A quick learner.
  • Proactive person who loves to work with people.
  • Passionate about market research/problem solving.
  • You would love to work in an international business environment.


Skills Required:

  • Good command in written and spoken English and Hungarian.
  • Basic project management skills and analytical skills
  • Advanced in MS Office (most importantly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Preferably: knowledge and understanding of the specifics of the agricultural and food industry
