Junior QA Engineer

About the Role:
SPARK+ is looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join the team remotely and contribute to the testing and quality assurance of multiple digital products and platforms, including SOLO Network.

SOLO Network is a skills-first digital ecosystem by SPARK+ focused on connecting learning, verified credentials, workforce readiness, and career opportunities through modern technology platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform manual testing of web applications and platform features
• Execute test cases and identify bugs/issues
• Document bugs clearly with proper reproduction steps
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing
• Collaborate with developers and product teams
• Test user workflows, UI/UX flows, and overall functionality
• Help improve software quality and testing processes across products


Requirements

Requirements:
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to document issues clearly
• Basic understanding of web applications and APIs
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jira, Trello, or browser DevTools is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn automation testing tools and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Internship/project experience in testing is a plus
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or SQL is an advantage
