Job Description: Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing) Experience: 6 months (Manual Testing) Location: Dehradun Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively. Key Responsibilities Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Understand and follow test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. Assist in improving QA processes and test documentation. Skills & Qualifications Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports. Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) ? good to have. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. B.Tech degree preferred but candidates with relevant skills and experience may also apply. Nice to Have Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.). Basic understanding of SQL queries.
