Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kottayam, for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer. The MEP Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to oversee the design, installation, and coordination of building services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Daily responsibilities include managing MEP systems, coordinating with contractors and vendors, inspecting work for quality adherence, troubleshooting technical challenges, and implementing cost-effective solutions. The role also involves supporting project planning, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to project execution strategies to ensure timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of MEP systems ensuring alignment with project timelines .
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure the MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design and meet all technical requirements.
  • Monitor the progress of MEP installations, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, quality checklist, ensuring all MEP activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in managing MEP systems for interior fit-out works in hotels or commercial projects.
