Junior Legal Associate (GST & Compliance)

Location: Mumbai (On-site) — Candidates are expected to work full-time from our Mumbai office. Exact office address within the Mumbai metropolitan area will be provided to shortlisted candidates. Work mode: On-site. Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM (may vary as per business requirements). Occasional travel to government offices, tribunals, or other company offices may be required.

Experience: 2–3 years

Key Responsibilities

• Handling litigation and non-litigation matters under GST, Customs, and Foreign Trade Laws
• Drafting appeals, writ petitions, replies to notices, and legal opinions with statutory accuracy
• Assisting in representation before High Courts, Tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities
• Providing advisory support on GST compliance and regulatory matters
• Conducting legal research, due diligence, and compliance reviews
• Coordinating with government departments for filings, documentation, and regulatory processes
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong legal drafting and documentation skills
• Sound understanding of GST and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
  
  

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Background in Commerce will be considered an added advantage
