Job Purpose & Summary
Meyer Lab is looking for a detail oriented and driven Junior Java Script Developer. The responsibility of this role is to design, build, and maintain scalable internal tools and automation systems that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity across Meyer5 Lab. This position drives digital transformation initiatives by leveraging modern JavaScript technologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and integrate critical business platforms.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain JavaScript-based features, enhancements, and defect resolutions to support evolving business requirements.
- Architect and implement scalable SuiteScript 2.x solutions within NetSuite to optimize workflows and system functionality.
- Develop and maintain lightweight internal integrations to ensure seamless data exchange across business platforms.
- Support and enhance automation initiatives leveraging Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Graph API to improve operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in peer code reviews, uphold coding standards, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional special projects, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with business objectives, and adherence to established project timelines.
Education / Work Experience & Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience developing applications using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and version control systems, particularly Git.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript 2.x, with the ability to develop or support NetSuite customizations.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and/or Azure Functions to support workflow automation and serverless solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
Travel & Physical Requirements
- No overnight travel.
- Desk and computer work required.
- Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
